EBIRD Logistics is bringing its innovative drone logistics operations to the municipality of Silenen, Canton Uri. The company plans to establish a Switzerland-wide unique business model focused on autonomous drone transport for remote and mountainous regions. During a public demonstration, a drone successfully delivered a medical package from Silenen to Bristen in just seven minutes, showcasing a faster, more cost-effective, and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional transport methods. The move further strengthens Uri’s position as an emerging center for drone technology and alpine logistics innovation.
